WEStMINSTER 2013
Sneak a Peak did it again. Group 1 at this years show following a group 2 at last year's show and group1 in 2011. What a great dog. With over 50 best in show wins in all breed shows in the USA , he is doing smooths very proud.
PEPPER AT NAPC TOP DOG COMPETITION
Pepper qualified and were invited , but she had all her "boyfriends" mad and we just could not upset all the dogs at the show. We are very pleased with the invite and will try our best to attend next year. Lets just hope Pepper's 'timing"is better.
BALOO STILL NO 1
Baloo,Pepper's dad won the top terrier award in Ireland for the 3de year running. What a great dog. Congrats to Mr Ross Delmar and everyone at Shillelagh.

I am very pleased to report on the first shows of 2013. In spite of me being a bit under the weather shaka and i could not have asked for a better start to the show season. He finished the weekend with 2 x cc,2x Best of Breed, Group 1, a first for us at Rosdale and a Group 3. What a weekend it has been. Thanks for the judges,Mr Joe Nagel and Mr Fanie van der Linde for recognising Shaka for the great dog that he is. I know that his first "dad", Mr Ross Delmar is still very proud of him.
PE SHOW WEEKEND 5-7 APRIL
Great weekend for everyone at Rosdale. Shaka 3xBoB AND 2XGroup 3, Pepper 1x BOB 2x RBOB 4XCC, Bullet 1xCC, Bolt 1xCC 3XRCC, Spyker CC and Patroon 4x RCC. Well done to everybody. It was good seeing you all. We are very proud to announce that Pepper and Bullet are the newest SA Champions having gained theit 18 month CC's this weekend. Thanks everyone that has helped us over the weekend,especialy Heather van de Vyver. Always great company.
DURBAN WEEKEND 4 + 5 MAY
Good weekend again. Shaka 2xBOB,Group 2 and Group 4. Very proud of our Pepper girl as well. She got 2x CC and 2 Reserve Best of Breed. Watch out Shaka. Thanks to the judges Mr G Corish (UK-Best in Show judge 2013) and Margaret Supronowicz (POL) for recognising our dogs. We are looking forward to the upcoming shows in East London. A son of our Lihanton Bishops Crown (aka Spyker) will be making his show debut. Good luck. Looking forward to an enjoyable weekend of dogshows.
east London 25+26 may
At East London Kennel Club Shaka was BOB and Group 1 with Pepper RBOB. They did it again the next day at Port Rex Kennel Club.Wow two group wins in 2 shows. We are absolutely thrilled.
KUSA CLASSIC WEEKEND 1+2 JUNE
We are pleased and very proud to announce that Shaka was awarded the title Kusa National Smooth Fox Terrier 2013 , Kusa National Terrier 2013 and Best in Show 3rd at The Kennel Union Of South Africa's National Show. So that is BOB,Group 1 and BIS 3. Pepper got Reserve BOB and is KUSA National Smooth Bitch 2013. The KUSA Championship show was just as good. Shaka BOB,Group 1 and another BIS 3. Pepper RBOB.We are so proud of both our superstars.Thanks to all the judges who thought so highly of our dogs.Mrs Monique von Brempt (Belgium), Mr William Rodriquez (Costa Rica),Mr Jack Peden (South Africa) and Mr Zoran Brankovic (Serbia). We are super proud. Thanks again to everyone at Shillelagh Kennels in Ireland for Pepper and Shaka. We will keep on trying our best.It is an honour and dream come true to be able to show dogs like these.
OUDSHOoRN 15-16 JUNE
Shaka was all alone,with Pepper being given a rest. Shaka did miss his girlfriend,but did us proud again. 2xBOB, group 1 and group 4. Oudshoorn is always nice,a bit on the cold side,but a weekend we always enjoy. Thanks to our judges Mr Simpson and Mrs Impey. Shaka did enjoy catching up with "friends", aspecially his Yorkie friend.
goldfields 24+25 august
At Goldfields kennel club Shaka was at his best once again. Getting BOB and winning the group made the trip all worth while. Being a Goldfields Dog of the year qualifier and being shortlisted in the final 4 of the terrier group was just a cherry on the cake. Thank tou Mr Jack Peden for awarding Shaka BOB and his 8th group win for 2013. Shaka got another BOB at Roodepoort and Districts KC. A looooong weekend but all worth while.
BLOEMFONTEIN WEEKEND 30 AUGUST-1 SEPTEMBER
The weekend began with a bang, with Shaka winning the Terrier group. He followed that up with a group 2nd the next day at Bloemfontein KC under terrier specialist Mr A Hsieh of Taiwan. He ended the weekend with 4 BOB with some really good competition. A great weekend and worth the traveling. Shaka has really been very consistent.
QUEENSTOWN AND GRAHAMSTOWN 7+8 SEPTEMBER
Shaka continued to be the consistent dog that he is and ended the weekend with 2xBOB and 2x Group 3rd placings. It is just a honour and privilege to show a dog of shaka's calibre.
CAPE TOWN 19-20 OCTOBER
After a long drive to Cape Town and some hot weather Shaka was at his best again. 2xBOB and a group 2nd at Breede River KC and Cape Town KC. So we are coming back AGAIN next weekend. Just mad people doing that. Mad about our dogs that is, and if you have the opportunity to show a dog like Shaka , I will do it every weekend.
CAPE TOWN 26-27 OCTOBER
Not knowing that our judge is a Smooth fox terrier specialist and breeder for over 40 years we went out just doing what we normally do.Well Shaka does all the doing. He went on to win the terrier group for an amazing 9th time this year. And then a RESERVE BEST IN SHOW. What a day and what a year. The cherry on top was another group 2nd the following day at Western Province KC.
